Hunter at Sunrise Returns March 1!
Will be available on radioNtenna (WHRV 89.5FM HD3) and online

(Norfolk, VA) Hunter Hughes brings Hunter at Sunrise, his special LIVE blend of acoustic and eclectic music to radioNtenna (WHRV 89.5 FM HD3), public radio’s digital channel for progressive music, Sunday, March 1, 7am – 12noon.

In addition to his signature blend of music, Hunter will feature interviews of national and local indie artists, as well as live performances.  Expect the unexpected – blues, rock, soul, jazz, Americana, world music and more – all in a laid back, acoustical format.

As Hunter says, “It’s music you can chill out to … but I also try to make each show an event, and that’s what separates what you’ll hear from everything else out there on commercial radio.”

Hunter’s show has generated an annual event every September in Norfolk’s Town Point Park, called the Sunrise to Sunset Acoustic Music Festival, featuring national, regional and local artists such as David Wilcox, Patty Larkin, Old Crow Medicine Show, Shawn Mullins, Sam Bush, Julie Clarke, Mike Aiken, Lewis McGehee, Narissa Bond, Stephen Bennett and Robbin Thompson.

In addition to the live broadcast on radioNtenna, Hunter at Sunrise will be streamed live at whro.org and hunteratsunrise.com.
