WHRO TV15 WELCOMES BILL MOYERS BACK TO PUBLIC TELEVISION
Faith and Reason Series Begins June 27th

Norfolk:  Public television station WHRO (TV15) will air a new seven-part series, Bill Moyers on Faith & Reason, premiering on Tuesday, June 27 at 10pm, and on six consecutive Tuesday nights at 10pm.  In the tradition of the landmark Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth, the Moyers series will feature provocative conversations about the role of religion in shaping the world, with guests Margaret Atwood, Mary Gordon, Martin Amis, Richard Rodriguez, and others.  The conversations provide revelatory observation on the long-running argument between believers and disbelievers, and enlightening perspective on the fear, violence and intolerance that grip our times.  The series delivers fresh perspective that taps into an undercurrent in the national discussion and resonates with the religious, the non-religious, and those in between.

Bill Moyers on Faith & Reason will be supported by an extensive companion Web site at www.pbs.org/moyers, where visitors can interact, give feedback and discuss the issues presented in the series.  After the broadcast, each episode will be available in its entirety for viewing online.
